I've been building software since 2007, most of it in PHP and most of it for ecommerce. Some of it I built for employers, some for my own company, and some just because I wanted it to exist. These are the things I've built or helped build, with a short version here and a longer writeup on each project's page.
Knowledge ERP
Knowledge ERP is the flagship product of my company, Pelton Solutions. It's a customizable inventory management system I've been building since 2016, with detailed tracking and check in/out support for rental and loan equipment. I'm currently migrating it from a custom PHP framework to Laravel and Filament so it's easier to scale and to bring other developers onto.
Swiftrics
Swiftrics is a website platform I built. It publishes every site as static HTML, so pages load fast. The site you're reading right now runs on it, which is still the best demo I have.
Successories ecommerce platform
I've been working on the ecommerce platform at Successories since 2010, first as Senior Technical Lead and, since 2019, as Director of Technology. In that time the platform went from physical servers at Rackspace to AWS, the PHP framework was overhauled more than once, and I built things like an email marketing engine and customer proofing tools along the way.
MyPhoto and the photo upload patent
From 2015 to 2019 I was Senior Technical Lead at MyPhoto and Polaroid Fotobar, where the whole product depended on customers getting their photos onto the site with as little friction as possible. I co-invented a patented technique for streamlining that upload process, US-20140053081-A1, and built tools that helped the production warehouse manage orders through manufacturing.
Content creation
Not everything I've made is software. From 2012 to 2018 I ran BasketMC, a Minecraft channel on YouTube. I published videos, streamed live on Beam and Mixer, edited everything in Premiere Pro, and ran a Discord community around it. It's where I learned video production, and it turned out that skill wasn't done with me.
These days my wife Fabiola and I travel the US full time in our Brinkley Model Z 3515 fifth wheel and document the trip on our YouTube channel, Nomads Amor. Same camera and editing habits from the BasketMC years, very different subject matter.
If you want the full career timeline, it's on my resume. And if any of this sounds like something you'd want to talk about, get in touch.
